As you may know, my wife and I are personally involved with Children's Hospital - Division of Urology. We have direct knowledge and experience with how they save lives. They have amazing doctors – chief among them, Dr. Roger De Filippo. We need the urology department to continue to thrive and save lives.
Thus, it is with great honor and appreciation I write to you to request a donation. We need to raise funds by November 15, 2019.
If you are interested, please donate directly to this page, send me a check made out to Children's Hospital Los Angeles (I will take it there personally) or return the donation form that I've shared with you. I pray you will never need to use the hospital, but unfortunately there are those who will – who desperately need our help.
A brief description of the Urology Dept. at Children’s Hospital:
The Division of Urology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is one of the busiest and most comprehensive programs of its kind. The Division is ranked among the top hospitals in the nation for urology care where surgeons perform over 3,000 surgeries and see more than 19,000 patients annually.
Roger De Filippo, MD, Chief of the Division of Urology, a visionary leader and a compassionate doctor, is committed to seeking the latest treatments and advanced technology to improve the quality of care provided to children and adolescents. Dr. De Filippo champions:
• Robotic Surgery
• Organ Regenerative Research and Cell Therapeutics
• Complex Reconstruction and Malformations
CHLA is committed to innovation. For example, the Division of Urology is exploring the use of 360 Virtual Reality simulation for clinical, research and educational purposes through its Minimally Invasive Surgery Program. The program is among the top five programs that perform endoscopy, laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgeries in the country.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
Very Truly Yours,
